The Challenges of Faith-Based Fundraising During COVID-19 and Beyond
Rescheduled from an earlier date. Registration is required.
Whether or not you work for a faith-based organization, you are sure to appreciate this fascinating panel featuring Rabbi Marc Schneier, founder of the Hampton Synagogue and the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, Imam Shamsi Ali of the Jamaica Muslim Center in Queens NY, and Rev. Jacques Andre DeGraff, an Associate Pastor, Canaan Baptist Church in Harlem and past Vice President of One Hundred Black Men, New York.
We know there were challenges to fundraising during COVID, and faith-based institutions had their own special set of challenges.
The purpose of this program is to discuss – based on our esteemed panelists’ experiences – how did they overcome these challenges, and how will they move forward with their fundraising now that in-person services and events can take place?
The program will include time for Q&A – but please do feel free to email your questions when you register.
Takeaways: Members will come away with suggestions and ideas that you can try to implement within your own organizations.
Remember: Members Only meetings are a FREE BENEFIT of membership in the AFP NYC chapter. You must be a current member of the AFP NYC chapter in order to participate. Registration is required.
