The Engagement Committee reinforces the New York fundraising network by advancing both member and non-member participation in AFP-NYC activities. Its work focuses on refining messaging strategies that speak to diverse career stages, implementing initiatives to attract individuals and organizations into the chapter, and measuring the impact of engagement efforts. The committee tests and designs strategies that build community and increase value for fundraising professionals across the city and region. Co-chaired by board members Adam Doyno and Pedro Govantes, the committee plays a vital role in positioning AFP-NYC as the professional home for development leaders at every stage of their careers.
